I got shown a toy that looked like a cross between Pingu, a Pikmin on speedball, an early-2000s novelty music player and about seven bike horns, and got challenged to make it go "noot noot". This took me about half an hour.

We will never get another AAA MINMO or GODLLA: Size Is Problem because this type of work is first on the chopping block in the genAI era. Was checking about RE9, and found an interview with Capcom about using it to concept background/environmental objects. This is my favorite shit so it's tragic

Sure. AI companies have ALWAYS been training their models on Wikipedia content, which under the free and open access model is available to anyone — including AI companies. Agreements like these require AI companies to limit and offset the strain they place on Wikimedia infrastructure.
