I hate to admit that a certain amount of Schadenfreude may or may not have been visible on my face after Bama went down. Finally they have to watch football the way VOLS have been watching football for a very, very long time...biting their nails to the quick for four quarters. Too bad, too sad.

I just paid $7.50 for a jar of oregano. WTF? Guess I'll be growing and drying my own herbs next year. When will groceries prices go down? It's been seven months, Dude.

I retired today. After 32 years under State Retirement. I will give myself 4 months to do all the things I need to do at home and in the garden. Then I will find some volunteer work that has the potential to make my heart happy. In the meantime... I will rest.
