This happened the same day Charlie Kirk was shot. Ho-hum. Just another school shooting. Kirk gets flags at half mast, but it’s just life as usual for kids to get shot. Kirk said this was an acceptable thing, and this is why I find the moral outrage from the political Right hollow and gross.

More and more I wonder if Trump v2 is just a figurehead President so that Project 2025 people can get their policies in place. Vance et al. Trump is a useful distraction device so people don’t look behind the curtain. I don’t think Trump posted this, one of his handlers did.

We knew “pro-life” has only ever meant “pro-SOME-life”. CIS HETwhite Christian male life. Even women’s lives are acceptable losses if it means more babies. Of course MAGA doesn’t care if LBGTQIA+ people die. It means fewer people who’ll argue and vote against them.

I wonder if he thinks this kind of thing is profound. Like, ok, sure, it’s an interesting thought experiment - but does that change daily life for any of us alive today? If he weren’t busy wrecking our country and unleashing unnecessary cruelty and suffering on real humans it might land different.
