I appreciate my senator for doing what he can. This ultimately IS performative, but he is putting his body on the line for that performance. That isn’t nothing, not by a long shot. We want our politicians to have skin in the game.
I need to know why every other Dem isn’t doing the same or more.

I am on my way to get access to ICE’s Dilley Detention Center in south Texas. To do my job of oversight. I have been told I am going to be illegally refused entry, but I’m going anyway. We can’t let them hide.
