In amongst all the excitement I fear many have missed this outstanding bit of trolling by Friedrich Merz.

The Chancellor gifted Trump a gilded framed copy of his grandfather’s German birth certificate... reminding Americans that Trump is both the child and grandchild of migrants.

When cruel government officials grab people up because they don't agree with current leaders (Trump, Musk), that is kidnapping. And any of us may be next. Call your members of Congress and ask that they get off their duffs.

I signed! Join me!

Our governor and state legislature are threatening funding cuts unless all initiatives related to #DEI are removed. A campus "task force" recommended removing DEI from our Core Values. I'm trying to gather some faculty on campus to formulate a response.

#EduSky #UDL #DEIA #DEIB
This administration is canceling grants & vilifying DEIA. Faculty should be pushing back to explain how DEIA efforts are critical in our mission to support all students and benefit society by increasing student success. Please sign & share. #AcademicSky

This is unconscionable. 🧪 ⚗️
Two of our senior chemistry majors had their grad school admission offers pulled today.

This bizarre, treasonous administration is shutting off the pipeline of the next generation of scientists!

Why the #NWS matters. A thread. #wx 🧪🌀
The NWS is critical in virtually all aspects of society. Through the diligent actions conducted by the workers of the NWS, lives and property are saved, planes keep flying, and ships arrive on time. Weather will always present challenges. It’s their job to help us navigate through those winds.

Hey Washington Post! I'm a subscriber. Rejecting the "Fire Elon Musk" ad is one thing, but not allowing your paper to report the story (unlike every other major news source) is unacceptable. Publish the news. That's what I paid for. Or don't, and I'll look elsewhere. @washingtonpost.com

All words are permissible for me to speak, but not all are beneficial. 🤔
Word of day is ‘unasinous’ (17th century): united in stupidity.

A riff on ‘unanimous’: which comes from the Latin for ‘one mind’. ‘Unasinous’ means ‘one ass’.
