If we can only have art from people who "aren't in it for the money" that means we can only have art from privileged middle-class dilettantes. Making art being a viable career is responsible for nearly all worthwhile art, and if it's not a viable career any more we will get drastically less of it.

There's a lot of reasons why one should stop saying things like "unalive", "yahtzee", and "grape".
1. At no point has that ever made a difference regarding censorship
2. It makes it impossible for people affected to actually block the words

Hey all, here’s an update. Czar is in rehab until 12/23. Lost the right side of his body, so speech, reading and writing all have to be relearned, including walking and using right leg again. So far no movement in right arm. Work in progress, which is slow. Memory still iffy. Remembers most things.

Hey all, here’s an update. Czar is in rehab until 12/23. Lost the right side of his body, so speech, reading and writing all have to be relearned, including walking and using right leg again. So far no movement in right arm. Work in progress, which is slow. Memory still iffy. Remembers most things.

Mastercard, Visa, Stripe + Paypal are further restricting what kinds of perfectly legal adult content you can buy through their processor (they cracked down on itchio and steam over the summer, not to mention Patreon a few years ago). We're tired of them acting like dictators instead of tools.
I don’t happen to have a Mastercard, but can you remind me why I’d be upset with them if I did?
