told our pediatrician that it feels like a switch flipped this month and our kid is starting his terrible twos, and she gleefully told me he was too verbally advanced and it's more like he's a threenager. ok??? let me die lol

unfortunately our nearing two year old's favorite things to say right now are "gonna be sad at school cause there's no mommy there" and "dada said goddamnit", both of which cause us consternation

at our weekly b&n trip/kids reading circle, I noticed they're doing a book drive, which is theoretically great, except they're donating the books to a local daycare which we
toured so ik is 3k a month to attend. have they tried finding families in actual need

we're at a fancy hotel. the first 5 of 10 total floors of the incredibly narrow and perilous parking lot are valet only. every time we go in there, I think - if I were driving, I would be crying and sitting still. my husband whips through like it's nothing. I'm so glad to be a passenger princess
