Not completely. Mostly true. The specifics of her, very different. The yearning? So real it hurt to write and post. The discord convo? also real.

The combination of maybe four things in my life made a better story.

Fun fact: I've never so much as seen let alone touched anything Sinclair.

the storage and stash part of the collection. unkempt bits, parts, and pieces too large to put on show.

Another photo looking down at storage shelves. They're almost tidy, but also not. Loads of apple cinema displays, an aluminium imac, newton parts, CRTs, boxes of parts and cards and adaptors, boxes of cables, a stack of PCs taller than a small child, all stashed away like another slice of 90s/00s computing.

I have a funny connection to nearby too - my ex fiancée lived on shattuck when we met. Very early 90s, two uni students babbling away via email and usenet and fell for each other. Awww! I was never there but there are so many place names I hear and I have imagery of from what she shared.
