Of all the ways I could be represented in Star Trek the most accurate is captain nahla ake sitting in chairs.

A US ICE raid in Bathurst, NSW. This was a few years back but that shit DOES have potential here. Just sayin’.

I drive that street to work.

Jackrabbit #1 is insisting this meeting could have been an email, and the others are all LOOK MIKE IT'S FOR MORALE.

oh you just reminded me we had rain forecast then, and were celebrating the evening before when it began sprinkling, thinking it'd be washed away in the morning.

...and then we woke up to a town smelling like a wet ashtray instead.

In a flat land like this, seeing something that towering and it's not just handwavey somewhere-in-the-sky but clearly attached to the ground SOMEWHERE there - that's terrifying.

Whoa. My sis just sent me this - a pyrocumulus eruption above a fire 50km away.

Modern Trek: A morally complex antagonist has an emotional season-long arc, and is invited by the Guardian of Forever to confront time, history, and her own past. She is offered redemption weighed against the horror of all she has done.

TOS: Bones takes Ketamine and runs through time.

A barely-unboxing; opening up the bag for a Mac 15 pin video to VGA adaptor, never used. By other paperwork, it came with a 21" monitor bought in June 1998, 27.5 years ago.

No insertion scratches. Soft, pliable (but yellowed) connector covers. Warm, traditional grey plastic.

Want more Generative AI to roll eyes at? This is appearing all over ancestry and other genealogy sites.

A two-minute photo restoration of my grandparents in 1934. The colour? Excellent. The bokeh? Slick. The new lighting? Delicious.

The people? Different faces and ages, and more fingers.
