#Progressive 🌈🐶 dad. #Nashville is where I hang my hat, but chances are I’ll put my hoodie on inside out or backwards.

Team whipped cream in my coffee.

I promise to put money in the swear jar.

Such a delicate dance around two words. 🤣
A South Nashville building recognized as the former home of a Hooters — and a nightlife destination of sorts for many young male Nashvillians during that restaurant's heyday — has sold for $1.3 million.

I thought about low turnout after Jason Martin lost to Bill Lee. Seemed like he was platforming on things that would benefit Tennessee’s economy.

Instead, our tax $ are helping the wealthy put their kids through school while other kids struggle to get adequately fed.
#Tennessee #TN07 #Nashville-#Clarksville #Bluesky

His platform in short. He is as much a disgrace to the state as Green was.

#Turnout breaks #gerrymandering

I love the new Matt Van Epps commercial where he presents his platform while reminding the viewer he served his country.

EVERYTHING he’s pledging is the exact opposite of what his party is doing right now.

Appreciate his past service, but right now he’s FAKE AF.

So, yeah, even though no one asked me to, I'm publicly endorsing @aftynbehn.bsky.social for TN-07.

I'm a proud person, so y'all know I wouldn't do that if I didn't think that Tennessee needs people right now who acknowledge our problems and wants to fix them, and I think Behn can.

👇🏼This. Mobilize Nashville 🔥🔥🔥

Especially in Nashville there's a basically limitless sea of voters who either don't know there is an election or don't realize it is within 2,000-3,000 votes.

Nashville has like 80,000 eligible Dem voters who could potentially be turned out.

@peterhotezmdphd.bsky.social and Dr. Fauci were among the few whose guidance I trusted during the heights of COVID-19. I’m glad I found him on here dismissing the autism-vaccine link.
How awful. This is outright health disinformation, lying to the American people. Not only is there massive evidence showing no link between vaccines & autism, there’s not even a plausible mechanism based on what we’ve learned about the genetics of autism, some environmental exposures in pregnancy
HEADS UP: CDC website now officially asserts that vaccines may cause autism.“Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.” Also says the “vaccines do not cause autism” header remains b/c of an agreement with Cassidy.

The wild part is that many of these GOP states represent a minority of voters bcuz of gerrymandering. They lock themselves into power & then use preemption to force that minority rule onto cities like Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix, Charlotte, and Nashville that overwhelmingly vote against them

Behn: My biggest pet peeve in politics is when people who don’t live in the South say, “You get what you voted for.” I didn’t vote for the highest maternal mortality rate in the country. I didn’t vote for the highest inflationary cost of groceries in the country.

This should be our baseline standard for candidates. Sadly it's not. Yet. But supporting @aftynbehn.bsky.social and candidates that make this pledge and live by it in the special elections and midterms to come.
TN-7 Candidate @aftynbehn.bsky.social : "If you’re not OK with the chaos at our federal government, are upset with the cost of living & inflation, then I'm your candidate… I’ve never taken corporate PAC money, which is important- because are you fighting for the people or your donors?"
