I mean, one of his kids is named Techno Mechanicus...is it really so hard to believe all these IVF babies are just part of a mech suit project?

newgrounds to their credit has banned all genAI stuff, and they have a good article up on how to hear (or otherwise detect) genAI music, worth reading!: www.newgrounds.com/wiki/help-in...

very fond of this extremely succinct and dry but lethal description of genAI music 🔥

I guess call me a normie or a giant puss or whatever, but I have yet to get through either Interstellar or its soundtrack without being an emotional wreck by the end.

Is there a reason why you can't use actual child actors for a few lines of voice acting? Is it like the thing where you can't photograph milk on cereal so they use Elmer's glue? I can always tell it's a grown woman doing a "Bart" voice and it grates.

IG has always been a horrid scroll. At its best, it's just "everyone is having fun except me". And it's depressing by design. Anger and depression drive further scrolling in search of dopamine. It's down to a science. www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

I would love to see a study where people are asked to determine whether the art they're viewing has human intentionality behind it, or whether it's just AI. I'm seeing a lot of stock illustration replaced with AI, to me it's obvious when it's just an algo flailing, vs a human expressing a concept.
