My husband thought Wednesday felt like Friday - and we had a holiday on Monday. So it's our second Friday this week. A few more admin tasks today and then hoping to coast for a few days (as healthcare offices are closed!).
Good morning! Today, I hope the climb uphill ends so that you can coast downhill, riding your wisdom and compassion to a better landing place.

If you haven't had a chance to see this documentary, consider putting it on your 'to play' list. It's well worth the time to watch.

Bring Kleenex and whatever you need when you get angry.

I'm still looking for willing participants. One short (5 question) assessment for to fill in afterwards.

Single consultation or a series of 4 check-ins.... plus a group introduction to creating a family emergency plan.

Good morning! Today, I hope you only count what matters to you, like a peaceful moment, a relaxing experience and a thoughtful gesture. Wishing all three for you today.

I am working on a certification for consulting with caregivers and I'm so glad I've both found this training and that it's time for me after so long.

In the next few days, I'll be posting more details about a 4-week consulting checkin that is free as it's part of my training. 5 spots are available.

#NewWork is a term I first read in 'Why We Revolt: The Patient Revolution for Careful and Kind Care' by Dr. Victor Montori.

It's the work that falls to us in an increasingly industrialized and specialized HC system.

Navigating Healthcare started after my husband lived through end-stage lung failure and a lung transplant - with me riding shotgun.

In the past I've worked in biotech and been a high school science teacher. Now I'm creating courses & resources to help others better navigate our healthcare systems.
