Spoke with a source who told me the call volume is so high, a call center for both Mastercard & Visa is bringing out pizza and ice cream so agents don’t quite amid the rush. Long waits are causing dropped calls.

What you’re doing is working. Call MC & Visa.

If you haven’t already done so, now’s the time to call your reps and tell them to OPPOSE all of these bills! None of them are designed to protect children - not the App Store Accountability Act, not Sammy’s Law, not the SCREEN Act, and definitely not the amended KOSA!

Yeah instead of fretting, get into action and use also the 5calls app. The more of you who participate the more likely it is to fail. Also we already have real world experience with the UK's version of KOSA that was already defeated.
Lastly, you can go to websites made made by
@fightforthefuture.org to learn about KOSA and other shitty internet regulating bills. If we want our digital freedoms as artists and writers to see the next decade, we mustn't stop until these bills are dead.

KOSA is a censorship bill that won’t make kids safe. Instead, it'll put all internet users at risk, especially youth. If you believe in a free and open internet, tell your lawmakers to reject #KOSA!

Reminder to keep calling your reps, tell them to oppose and vote No on KOSA and every other bad internet bill
Next week the House E&C Committee is looking to run something of a shock and awe campaign, debating at least 19 bills that they say are related to "protecting kids online." Most of which are actually about censorship and control. Don't buy the framing. It's always the same damn thing.

Its not encouraging, but we MUST keep calling reps to fight against it.
