Remember when you couldn't use the bathroom during the Superbowl because you didn't want to miss a fun commercial or exciting play?

lol, good times.

Good afternoon to Bo Horvat, who is en route to Italy right now to play for Team Canada (his dream as a kid) and he just found out this, too. Let’s go. #isles

Maybe Congress should have stepped up when Trump posted the video of himself using a jet to drop tons of shit onto protesters.

Whatever is going on, he's increasingly unable to separate reality from his fantasy land.
President of the United States shared a video portraying former President and First Lady….as apes.

When is it enough?

Tsyplakov almost taking a stupid offensive zone penalty?

If not for the Devils' goalie, Isles would score nine goals tonight.

Extra skater for Islanders, extra bird for Penguins, leads to Horvat assist on Schaefer's goal.

Two of the top ten skaters in the league simply slip and fall, in quick succession 3v3, leading to Horvat's GWG.

Never know what you'll see when these two teams meet.

I particularly enjoyed the Holmstrom cyclone along the boards for the Pulock goal, turning Malkin inside out.

The last Islander to spin like that and set up a Pulock goal was probably Okposo.

What I liked most about the Bo goal was Barzal and Schaefer both falling, to lure all three Pens deep into the offensive zone.

26D chess right there.

Top defenseman for penalties drawn, minimum +5 differential:

22-23: Makar
89th among all skaters, with 21

23-24: Makar

24-25: Makar
29th among all skaters, with 26

25-26: Schaefer
4th among all skaters, with 28

(QHughes, 31st, is next best this season)

With his 9th even-strength goal of the season, Matthew Schaefer is now in the top-10 for NHL defensemen.

If Alexander Ovechkin scores four goals in WSH's next four periods, he will score his 1,000th (regular season and playoffs) against the Isles on Monday.

Jesus Christ himself could descend to Earth next Thursday with dozens of people recording the event and there would be hundreds of millions of people who would never believe that it occurred.

Hypothetically speaking.

Matthew Schaefer passed Bobby Orr for 2nd most goals by an 18-year-old defenseman.

In two months Schaefer will turn 18Y7M, Orr's age for his NHL debut in October of 1966.

Matthew Schaefer now with 28 penalties drawn this season.

Last season's leading defenseman, Makar, drew 26 penalties.

Two seasons ago Makar and Dahlin tied for most, with 26.

Maybe if they took the best players from PP1 and PP2 and combined them into one it could work.

This is more alarming than the plot of the novelette / movie Minority Report.
Remember folks, Stephen Miller said Alex Pretti was “an assassin who tried to murder federal agents" and J.D. Vance retweeted it

The other NYI-NYR trade of last 50 years: 2010 deal eventually resulted in Isles drafting Brenden Kichton in the 5th round of 2011.

The Isles sent two 6th round picks (NYR, NYI) to the Atlanta Thrashers in 2010 and ended up with the 5th round pick from Winnipeg Jets in 2011. (Same organization.)

Funny xg for the game was even at 5v5. Even though we had 3 more PPs total xg was 4.7 to 3.1 in Seattle's favor. Just an insanely deficient pp.

Only six SOGs in 10:12 of 5v4 for NYI tonight, according to NST.

Yikes!

Maybe two scoring chances?
