I don't think people understand just how much of a revolt they'll have if they shutdown the govt AND don't pay people back pay. Do you want to radicalize middle managers, paper pushers and mild-mannered scientists? Because this is how you do that.

Went to see Apollo 13 at the IMAX theater in the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy Center last night. Incredible movie I’ve seen many times, of course, but also was great to spend time again at such a breathtaking museum.

I’m also in VA, under 65, got a shot yesterday at CVS without a prescription, free, no questions asked, don’t have underlying conditions

I am under 65 without an underlying condition and got my Covid shot today no problem at a CVS in Arlington, they didn't ask any questions about underlying conditions. I'm grateful, of course, but according to the VDH order they're not supposed to administer it unless I have a condition

I'm under 65, I'm healthy, no underlying conditions, and I got my Covid vaccine today no problem, for free, in Virginia at CVS. It's shameful it's not easily accessible to ANYONE right now in the U.S.

They want a COVID shot to protect their health or at-risk family. They can't get it

Though the FDA narrowed criteria for the shots, many people still want them, to avoid illness and protect vulnerable family members. Some are turned down at the pharmacy or have to jump through hoops.

Just got the 287-minute (!!) director's cut of this Wim Wenders classic, possibly my favorite movie of all time. And the soundtrack is absolutely terrific. Looking forward to settling in for a screening, I've heard a lot about this version but have never seen it.
