VISA and MASTERCARD control the payment processor market, in a monopoly, that is not regulated in the least. These companies openly dictate access to services, sales, or operations, of legal items, or legal businesses, based on their own political views. Credit Card Processors should only be there to process legal transactions, and not dictate what someone spends their money on. VISA and MASTERCARD are so big and control a market that can be equated to a utility. There are no alternatives widely available in the market, despite these companies acting as a key part of all payment infrastructure. just like water companies or electricity providers are regulated to prevent them from stopping service based on arbitrary views,
VISA and MASTERCARD should be held to the same standard.

Right now there's a petition in Australia to establish a law that would prevent organizations like "Collective Shout" from forming harassment campaigns. This is only for Australians to sign, but it's also encouraged for others to share the petition. #SaveSpeech

We ask for this due to rising concern that non-profit organisations, or otherwise, have been and have successfully pressured Australian and global companies into refusing service to certain groups of people, including people of sexual identity, LGBTQ+ groups. They should not be allowed to use harassment techniques to force their personal ideas and beliefs on Australian adults and others around the world who use the internet

We therefore ask the House to investigate, regulate, restrict or shut down and outlaw organisations such as "Collective Shout"; these organisation,s like the one named here, hide behind the disguise of protecting the vulnerable; however, their predatory behaviour has caused people to lose jobs and livelihood as well as people to feel unsafe in their own skin So we ask the House to look into these non-profits and expose the true harm they do behind closed doors
