Finished with what's been released of the Winx reboot

Admittedly episodes 10-13 had some pretty good stuff but only enough to get the reboot at about a 7/10 at best overall for me

Perhaps that score will raise if the next episode batch they release is any good lol

"Life of A Showgirl"?

Not Taylor's best work imo

Probably Taylor's worst album in awhile if I'm being honest

It lacks a lot of her usual storytelling flavor and soul

There's some bangers but it overall reeks like generic pop

10 episodes in now. Sadly the episodes after Dark Bloom do have a slight decline in quality again, even if they're still okay

Unless episodes 10-13 lock the fuck in, this really is not moving from being a 6.5/10 lol

It's first few episodes are riddled with flaws but it's kinda engaging watching it slowly get better

Also, I like Damien. He's a bit OC-esque & takes up a little too much screentime but I do find him endearing

The budding romance they seem to be setting up with him and Flora is honestly cute and probably the most interesting relationship dynamic of the reboot tbh lol

Update, six episodes in now

Won't lie, it actually does slowly get better in writing quality as it goes

It's still nowhere near the quality of the original and Musa & Aisha could definitely use more screentime & focus but I'm at least enjoying it

Episode 6 especially is surprisingly good

As someone who went to college for Film specifically for screenwriting and editing, this is REALLY atrocious

The fact they blazed through Bloom learning about fairies and leaving Earth in four minutes is crazy rushing 😭
