I guess SONY really didn't want people adding more games and they cheapened out with 20 games of questionably variety, even though I am indirectly responsible for choosing a handful of games.

consoles. I'm not spending hours writing a script to patch in a custom kernel because it would end up turning into a project that would be abandoned due to my incredibly lazyness.

16 GB eMMC internal storage capacity would be a problem for shovelling PS1 games into storage, for one.

Installing Bleemsync to my PsClassic mini console again, because for some reason an important file became corrupted the last time it was booted.

I wish there was a better alternative than needing to store files and games onto a USB stick, as is the method employed by the NES and SNES Classic mini

With different directors and changing studios it would really be a monumental task to keep consistancy with sequels. Hopefully Nintendo is weeeeell aware of this and will hardline extensive supervision and involvement over their works.

I'm not sure how I feel about Nintendo deciding to branch out with more movies because it is still too early to give an assessment.

Guess we need to wait a few years.

I just hope that the characters closely resemble their original videogame incarnations or they wouldn't feel relatable.

I think he is implying that planned obsolence is inevitable for subscription services, in which case that could be mitigated by renewing lisencing and contracts.

Either that or he is copping out and saying that he has run out of ideas and is giving up with videogames.

Does a song become obsolete? Does a movie become obsolete? And yes, I understand that a movie or show may be outdated with tropes and relevancy, though that is beside the point.

in theory, a game could become obsolete in the sense that it is no longer officially supported with online and download-able content or server support; it is possible for a game that can only be played online to cease continuing to be played.

No, I fail to see how it is possinle for a videogame, or other media to become obsolete. That is a really strange concept and I want to assume that what Miyamoto said was misinterpreted, because that is entirely possible.

The term obsolete really doesn't apply to this context.
