Still think Antifa isn't violent? Here's bodycam footage of Antifa founder B.J. Blazkowicz shooting a heroic member of ICE who was just trying to protect this great nation. Thank God we have Blazkowicz's girlfriend in custody.

I'll be delaying my stream tonight to later in the week to make room for the retrobit stream below. If you were going to tune in to mine, please tune in to theirs instead to see some of my latest work! :)

Is the last one of these "Darth"?

When playing Ridge Racer, I noted the announcer during the replay has a tone similar to the ClayFighter announcer.

I found the role is credited to Michael Guinn. Not the CF announcer, but IMDb has Guinn as Dracula from Symphony of the Night and Harry Mason from Silent Hill.

I didn't expect that.

There's an ifixit vid on yt showing how to do the replacement. Looks fairly easy - mostly screws, no prying involved. They recommend a spudger for disconnecting the two cables (one is the SD card slot, the other is the battery itself) but that probably isn't strictly necessary.

I'm looking forward to digging into it this month!

Spent a dollar at @repcwa.bsky.social for a cable to hook my (self-refurbished) ipod up to my desktop speakers :)
A black 5th gen ipod hooked up to an Altec Lansing desktop speaker. It's playing "Conducer" from BRMC's Baby 81 album.

As we get into the spoopy season this week for #RandomGameSaturday we have Full Quiet, a new (ish) horror sidescroller for the NES! The game has a large contiguous world, a day/night cycle (don't get caught out at night!) and does a lot with Morse code.
Full Quiet for NES. Pictured are the box, manual, limited edition silver cartridge, and a paper map of the cliffs area.

For an idea of what went into these, for even just this one screen, I:
* Added a 3rd line to the text
* Added extra tiles to fit "DOWNTOWN QUIZ" onto the background banner
* Added extra tiles to Kunio's name sprite
* Translated the other contestants' names
That level of care, but across the board :)
A screen capture from Nekketsu Street Basket. The "DOWNTOWN QUIZ" banner is two tiles wider than in the original, there's three lines of text printing instead of two, all contestants' names have been translated, and Kunio's nametag sprite has extra tiles in it that aren't mirrored like they are in the original version.

Hey everyone, check it out! Two more that I worked on :) These are completely different translations from the Retro Brawler Bundle versions on the Switch, and I did my absolute damnedest to make sure that full-length names for characters, skills, and items were in place for both games.

Seconding this, I was pleasantly surprised by Chorus and had a *lot* of fun with it. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but man, good times.

Speaking of cheap spacey shooting, Chorus is 90% off. A fast, fun dogfighter with some light open-world stuff going on and fantastic graphics. Some cool big boss fights, too.

Easy to play for genre beginners, and teleporting behind helpless enemies (you get some fun abilities) never gets old.

I really want to play Quest 64! But I want to do so with, like, the recompilation treatment on PC.

My drop-in USB circuit board for the SEGA Dreamcast Twin Stick works!

It's completely reversible, and works with the PS4 and Xbox 360 versions of Virtual-On, as well as on PC!
