zako no ahiru is a very fun idea that posits what if Bennett Foddy's monologues in Getting Over It was a bratty anime girl genuinely out to mock you and trying to make you mad but unfortunately while I think the game still works their take on a foddy-like game just isn't that good

approved despite over 600 speakers signing up to speak to the budget, with all but a tiny number strongly opposed, and following a public engagement survey that found the majority of respondents supported a property tax increase to avoid cuts.
Vancouver's 2026 draft budget has PASSED.
Approved on a 7-4 vote on party lines, with ABC in favour and councillors Fry/Bligh/Orr/Maloney opposed.
Property tax freeze, $50 million more for VPD, and cuts to Arts, Culture, Planning and Sustainability departments, among others.

momo crash is fine though I don't really like 2 button rhythm games that much. The amount they want you to play the small list of public domain inspired music to unlock the pictures in the gallery is pretty unhinged though lol
also doing a single lane rock band style is pretty hard to read

Well, not only has my day job not paid me in over a calendar month, they’re also expecting me to be the singular employee on staff, both back and front of house, for a full service sit down restaurant that also does online orders. So I might need to quit before lining something else up.

In Blazblue, the character Platinum the Trinity has a jab where they do either rock, paper or scissors
This makes no difference in almost all situations EXCEPT when they are fighting another Platinum. If they both jab each other at the same time, the "winner" gets the hit

I'm guessing this is NPC text inclusive? I'd be curious to see a break out of how the percentages change between all dialogue text vs. major characters only. My first thought is there's a huge bias towards using men for bit NPC's and antagonists even with the most well meaning projects

the reason 101 dalmations looks like that is because disney incorporated xerography (ie early photocopying technology) into the animation process. rough pencils (by mostly male animators) were copied onto the cels so that disney could fire the (mostly female) inkers. remember that art can lie to you

I found a completely broken combination of weapon skills in Brave x Junction lol
I'm only partway through the postgame so maybe they'll throw something that ruins it for me but so far I've stopped worrying about ever really being seriously threatened by enemies as Thief now
