I don’t understand the purpose of Trump’s tariffs. Are they a replacement for federal income tax revenue? Are they meant to punish other countries for their own tariff policies? Maybe a negotiating ploy to get freer and fairer trade? Are they aimed at bringing manufacturing back to the USA?

One thing we’ve learned about authoritarians is they have no shame. They’ll lie, cheat and steal in broad daylight to get their way. Whether it’s Putin denying that there is a war in Ukraine or Trump denying that there was an insurrection on Jan 6th, they don’t care about the truth.

Trump's criticism of Bruce Springsteen is the least surprising thing I've ever heard. I will never understand why people like him. He embodies all of the seven deadly sins. He is truly a garbage human and I question the moral core of anyone who supports him.

Let’s make it plain. #TrumpsTariffs are essentialy a sales tax. If you spend most of your income, then you’ll pay most of it. If you save most of your income then you’ll pay very little of it. Great for the ultra-wealthy, not so great for the rest of us.
