Who's participating in my annual December Writing Challenge? How are you doing, working writing into your daily schedule? I've been getting words down early, over coffee, before I even download new emails. Perfect for avoiding distractions. #DecWritingChallenge

Far too much politics in my feed this morning. What's everyone reading? I just started the first volume of Solvej Balle's On the Calculation of Volume (yes, I'm late to the party) and I'm transfixed. Kinda wishing I stayed up late last night to finish it, but then I'd just be dashing out for book 2.

Writer Beware is always looking to hear about stuff like this [email protected]
There’s another wave of author impersonators offering consultations/mentoring for a price. (I got one from “Claire Keegan” telling me I’m very promising!) I’m sure you are great, but I didn’t email to tell you how swell you are. Here’s info on book scams: www.penguinrandomhouse.com/prh-fraud/

I called Ossoff about this yday, but I may call again today tbh. He's worried about reelection but he has to know that if he screws this up he's gonna lose us.

(If your senator is one of the few listed here, please call!)
Readers in Arizona, Michigan, & Georgia!

Your senators have been getting a LOT of dedicated pressure to end the shutdown, without fixing healthcare.

If you have a minute, go ahead & give them a call!

Their job is to respond to constituents & they're mostly hearing from GOP voters rn.
