Their terror is palpable. Anything to keep the base from realizing how many people see the regime as a problem.

I think it's actually his money kink. One of the big coal magnates is a fellow felon and fraudster, and no doubt bribed Trump t rescue his failing businesses.
nerdahedron.bsky.social
He's been a cheerleader for the coal *industry*, which is not the same thing as being pro-miner AT ALL. I know honest headlines are hard for you to write, but could you try?

I suspect none of his "cases" will make it past discovery, and only serve to reinforce the obvious guilt of his administration and all those involved in these tawdry Temu tribunals.

It's a myth and/or a structural misunderstanding that the Inuit have 50 words for snow.

It's a fact that gamers have millions of ways to describe "that fucker who just got me killed."

I’m old enough to remember when government requests to tech companies were considered by conservatives to be the worst form of censorship ever.

I'm sorry, is the Trump Administration talking to a tech platform?

Is it...requesting content moderation?

An interesting dive into the (lunatic) psychology of the Big Tech Bros like Thiel, Musk, et al. and how their switch to Trump is mostly about getting their way like the arrogant, entitled manbabies they seem like. Power corrupts. Again.

Yamir, The Mammoth Fortress. It towers on the back of a giant Royal Mammoth filled with Primal and murderous fallen elves ready to swing down to any unlucky settlement in the path of their titanic living battlement.

That's amazing! What a cool idea for a map!

Predatory mindset of it's creators carries through to so many ways it's being used. It's like a pre-written permission slip in some people's minds. Had to shoot down an aggressively security-oblivious idea from a software vendor doing a beta recently. They wanted to connect it to our work emails.

Someone check Thiel's house for mold. Test his water for lead too.

thiel, man, what the fuck are you talking about

He describes the plot of Watchmen, a 1986 graphic novel involving superheroes grappling with moral questions about humanity against the backdrop of impending nuclear war:

The antihero Ozymandias, the antichrist-type figure, is sort of an early-modern person. He believes this will be a timeless and eternal solution – eternal world peace. Moore is sort of a late-modern. In early modernity, you have ideal solutions, ‘perfect’ solutions to calculus. In late modernity, things are sort of probabilistic. And at some point, he asks Dr Manhattan whether the world government is going to last. And he says that ‘nothing lasts forever.’ So you embrace the antichrist and it still doesn’t work.

Thiel later finds biblical meaning in the manga One Piece, discussing how he believes it represents a future where an antichrist-like one-world government has repressed science. He believes that the hero, Monkey D Luffy, represents a Christlike figure.

In One Piece, you are set in a fantasy world, again sort of an alternate earth, but it’s 800 years into the reign of this one-world state. Which, as the story unfolds, gradually gets darker and darker. You sort of realize, in my interpretation, who runs the world and it’s something like the antichrist. There’s Luffy, a pirate who wears a red straw hat, sort of like Christ’s crown of thorns. And then towards the end of the story, transforms into a figure who resembles Christ in Revelation.

Thiel, along with a researcher and writer at Thiel Capital, explored these ideas at greater length in an essay for the religious journal First Things earlier this month.

I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?
