Who knows. Maybe the difficulty of the process was where artists honed their craft and sharpened their communication skills, and that the millions of decisions in any piece of work, made over time by an individual, were where the richness of human artistic expression was hidden.

Gen AI requires minimal creative or craft skills, works at enormous speed, and is touted as a way of crashing through limitations and gatekeepers, freeing your creative vision.

So shouldn’t we have had some AI art that isn’t total shit by now?

Or was speed and ease not the problem after all?

Lição aprendida ele está aí mantendo o MBL com mão de ferro, pq ele é uma figura de carisma negativo e qq um que juntar a turma bota o cara pra escanteio. Ele também não concorre a mais nada... mas isso é pq a declaração de bens dele para a justiça eleitoral não ia dar nada certo.

Eu gosto sempre de lembrar que ele fundou um partido para concorrer ao CA XI de Agosto, o Resgate, e na iminência do lançamento da chapa deles, ele tomou um golpe do Caio Miranda (hoje vereador pelo União Brasil) e perdeu o controle do Resgate.

Eu tinha um livro de ciências que ensinava a fazer um com uma garrafa PET e uma régua. Você só precisava cortar a boca e fazer um funil, régua do lado e acabou.

Outra coisa que eu adoro é que ela é a única pessoa branca do clipe todo. 20 anos depois, ia ter uma grita desse clipe ser woke e apagar as pessoas brancas. Amo essa fase dela.

Eu tenho uma fanfic da minha cabeça que esse clipe, música e álbum marcam um limite da música pop americana, teve o antes desse clipe e o depois, em termos de técnica, imagem, produção, ritmo, mensagem. Ela é tão grande que o século XXI começou mesmo depois de Confessions on a Dance Floor.

Speaking from experience, the legal departments of every company would benefit from this as well. OOXML standard is a mess. Every contract lifecycle management solution uses OnlyOffice or other open variant to do online editing and they break revision control done by Word.

When a chatbot gets something wrong, it’s not because it made an error. It’s because on that roll of the dice, it happened to string together a group of words that, when read by a human, represents something false. But it was working entirely as designed. It was supposed to make a sentence & it did.

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.
