There are 100s of ToysRus commercials out there, but this one is interesting BC it marked the beginning of its decline. During this time (late 90s), Target & Walmart aggressively expanded their toy offerings & Amazon put the final nail in the coffin in the early 2000s.

My biggest gaming mistake was buying a 3DO when they released the cheaper FZ-10 model. I missed out on the entire PS1 era because of that system - only to see games worth playing on 3DO get made better on the PS1 🤦‍♂️

Though, Wing Commander 4, Return Fire & Road Rash were pretty good on 3DO.
'The price of freedom is eternal vigilance' - so says this portentous 1995 CD-ROM Today magazine ad for the FMV-laden Wing Commander IV - Hamill! McDowell! (Scan via the VGHF Library.)

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

The river is an important part of our town…. During the summer you can float the river and listen or watch concerts from the water for free. This year we did Mumford and Sons and Rufus du Sol.
