A big reason why I hold on to older hardware such as phones and my PC is because I feel no need to upgrade. Especially when these tech companies keep adding shitty new features that I don't want or need that make it run worse.

"There are no good movies/shows/games" anymore is honestly a very telling statement from a person who simply wants attention. They also desperately need to watch more movies and shows and play more games.

I would be much more inclined to buy a game that I know has no AI slop in it, and I would fully support a "made by humans" label so that developers can market their games as such.
It feels like the only people who want the slop are the CEOs.

I would be much more inclined to buy a game that I know has no AI slop in it, and I would fully support a "made by humans" label so that developers can market their games as such.

Between console wars, people jumping on bandwagons to hate whatever's popular, and resorting to cheap, personal insults, in many ways being on social media does remind me of being back in high school. Some of the behavior hasn't changed.

My Switch 2 somehow screwed up the time, but I ended up with around 1300 hours on Animal Crossing New Horizons.
It was during Covid and I played ACNH damn near every day to do the daily tasks and build my outdoor cafe and bar.
