For my old and new followers, here are some fandoms and favorite characters you can get to know me by.

Curious to see what we have in common and what this says about me.
Whenever something that's good starts getting worse, you can typically blame one or more of the following:

Meddling executives
Right-wing politicians
Capitalism (particularly ads, billionaires, and private equity)

I'd be down for another season, or have them show up in other MCU projects down the line.

Finished Wonder Man and damn, this was good. Best Marvel show since WandaVision. It might even be the best.

A good part of it rests on the great chemistry and bromance between Simon and Trevor, and they're always a delight whenever they're on screen together.

That, too. All of these tech companies and studios embracing AI slop will be in trouble when the bubble bursts.
February 4, 2026 at 1:56 AM
Disney's embracing of AI slop is not going to end well. Not only will people not want to see it, you know that it is going to end up with porn and other weird shit Disney probably doesn't want.

Hopefully the new CEO kills this.
Bob Iger says Disney+ will have AI-generated content on the platform by the end of September 2026

OpenAI's Sora will be able to AI generate 30-second videos based on 250 characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars

For some shows it works, but not every show needs to be "prestige TV". Episodic TV especially needs more than 8-10 episodes.

This feels like something mandated by executives when it should be the choice of the showrunners and producers.
February 4, 2026 at 12:34 AM
TV in the streaming age feels like each season of TV is made as a miniseries or a stretched out movie that takes more than one year to make as opposed to an actual 20+ episode seasons that got made every year.

These losers aren't actual fans or critics, they all have the same talking points and catchphrases, are only in it for the grift or to spread right-wing propaganda and culture war shit. It feels so disingenuous.

The chuds and the worst people you know on the internet being gaslit by pedophiles and billionaires honestly makes perfect sense and explains so much about them.

I wasn't sure I was going to like Starfleet Academy due it to being aimed at a younger audience, but I gave it a chance and its turning out to be actually really good.
February 3, 2026 at 10:04 PM
Another reminder that you're not the target audience for everything, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's okay to say "this isn't for me" and move on.

Who knows, you might end up liking something if you venture outside of your box.

I swear, all Big Tech does now is make all of our lives worse by making their products and services worse. They have no intention of benefitting humanity.

Looking at you, Adobe, Microsoft, and literally every AI company. That bubble can't burst soon enough.

The Switch 2 has already outsold the Wii U and is their fastest selling console. That's impressive considering things like the cost of living crisis and AI and tariffs driving up prices.

It's another reminder that online hatedoms have no impact in the real world.

Good. I hope that this is the first of many investigations into Twitter and Musk. There has to be consequences for the CSAM and deepfake shit.

I'd love for this to result in Elon behind bars and Twitter shut down.

So if bad faith assholes are harassing you or there's someone you don't want to have access to you, then blocking is your friend.

It's a red flag whenever someone gets mad at you for setting boundaries.

Reminder that Bluesky has a working block button. It's a nuclear block in that person will never be able to interact with you again.

John Carpenter's The Thing.

While it wasn't a flop, it wasn't a hit either. Critics also hated it at the time, but it is now a beloved classic.

So it turns out that PedoCon Theory was 100% true.

Everything they accuse their opponents of is always projection.

And remember, don't hate watch this shit. Mock it and let it fade into obscurity.
February 2, 2026 at 11:50 PM
Lol, this reeks of desperation and jealously.

Nobody is going to watch a bunch of hasbeens and who nobody outside of terminally online MAGAs has even heard of.
Turning Point USA has announced the performers for their alternative Super Bowl halftime show:

Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett

No, seriously, what do CEOs actually do to justify paying them like royalty? It seems to me that they make things worse for their companies every time they open their mouths. It's the one job I'd actually be fine with AI taking.
February 2, 2026 at 11:13 PM
There are too many people on social media and in real life who hate fun and don't want to do anything to help or bring joy to others.

Killjoys and NIMBYs are essentially the same type of asshole. Don't be like them.
February 2, 2026 at 10:02 PM
These people need to stop relying so much on what some shitty YouTuber or Rotten Tomatoes says about something and go and enjoy what they want to.
February 2, 2026 at 5:53 PM
There are too many people who let social media dictate their viewing/gaming preferences.

Like how people won't play a game if some loser told them it's "WoKe!".

Or how some people insist "modern Simpsons bad" because people on social media who don't watch it told them it was.
