I just don't think you're fulfilling your whimsy macros, bro. You're not trinketmaxxing. You aren't achieving your peak crow performance. Are you even trinketpilled, bro? Have you done your "sense of childlike joy" reps yet?

Bro. 😔

So I guess we’re going to build the Trump-class - a battleship sized missile platform, in an era where those ships can get taken out by drones and missiles. JFC, really?

Hey my work laptop just rebooted and started updating firmware, with no warning. I’m pretty sure that means I don’t need to work anymore today.

No, YOU’RE obsessively reloading the epic D&D survey in a kind of sad quest for validation.

One of the things I’m playing with in my current Werewolf game is the inverse of an old saying: “Never attribute to malice what can be attributed to stupidity.”

I don’t entirely know why, but I don’t know that I like Joshua Williamson’s comics. Certainly, he last big event “Final Crisis on Infinite Earths” seemed like an absolute mess of big showpiece moments with not enough connective tissue.

Well, I'm officially old. Two reasons:
1. I took a nap after work. Naturally I did so on the couch, where I have no CPAP. Not only was it not restful, I slept wrong and my neck hurts.

Progressive Delivery has interesting points around “Abundance”, but I wonder if a better descriptor would have been “Standardization” - orgs can’t purchase unlimited resources (and the book makes this clear).

Given the quality of his run on Fantastic Four, I’m disappointed in One World Under Doom.

So I have a hoodie where the zipper part broke off. The track looks fine. Can you replace that, or do I need to lose the hoodie?

Every so often I read an article on the WSJ’s editorial page. Nine times out of ten, I come out dumber than going in.

I know literally nothing about baseball, except that it would be kind of neat if the Toronto Blue Jays won the World Series.

This is actually an amazing read, and so impressive that they got this out within three days of the event. I wish whatever team had put this together had been allowed to sign their work.
Oof, this was painful to read (and not just for the wall o'text) and I imagine even more painful to debug/recover from! Impressive they managed to recover that quickly from such a complete clusterfuck

The IRS is introducing new regulations on catch-up contributions to retirement plans. These contributions raise the annual contribution limits for those over 50, and again for those over 60. Starting in 2026, those earning over $145k must pay taxes on these contributions.

FFS people. If you’re driving, DO NOT hold your phone in one hand and your steering wheel in the other and try to film the protest happening literally inches away on your right!
