We remember the days of Slimcea bread, Ryvita, grapefruit & cottage cheese diets.
We have thoughts on the new appetite suppressants, but aren't qualified to pass clinical opinion.
There's no denying their impact on eating habits at home & eating out.
Diet or not, sometimes small is just right.

Just published on my blog a recipe for, plus history of (natch), toad-in-the-hole.
It's a classic and often on lists of the weird foods Brits eat. I have no idea why...it's quite simply one of my favourite meals.
