Also, most importantly, remember that no one is immune to scams. You can be smart and prepared and vigilant, but the reason scams work is because they can catch that small sliver of an opening.

I've been thinking about how as a kiddo, I was called creepy. I was upset at first, but I started liking it a lot more as I grew up.
I like the "creepy" aesthetic. I even requested a touch of it in my design - horror has become beautiful to me even if I do get scared occasionally.
