Bought a few new records this week, from Wayne Shorter to Chaos In The CBD to The Offline. My wife also bought some new art books. Really looking fwd to winding down, doing the opposite of doom scrolling, and sit with the efforts of one artist for a little while.

Honestly really looking fwd to the intentionality that will come with a full qubesOS workflow. When I need to do something, I need to be intentional - open the right VM, ensure its on the right network, make sure its not crossing any identity boundaries that I don't want it to.

Interesting lesson from moving over to a NitroPad for my personal device, I love the assurance model, but damn not having my nitrokey - which is needed to verify boot, is tough. I wish I got it shipped in the same shipment. The wait continues!

I’m working on a post about “Trust as an attack surface” in the AI era. The spicy part isn’t hallucinations - it’s how quickly teams operationalize AI. AI lets us go faster, but for security we need to slow down some times and think.

I feel like the most common attack vector for bad actors is not some crazy 0-day but attacking trust. We seem to be trusting a lot of new tech atm, 1: the answers from AI, 2: the general usage of AI, 3: the network traffic. All of the above are ahh very soft.

Damn having a watch with no complications is so simple in the morning if you haven’t worn it for a while.
I swear when I put on my GMT watches after not wearing them I spend SO long getting the date and second Timezone right.
