The defendant and her company are charged with racking up nearly $300,000 in unpaid tolls for trips back and forth between New Jersey and New York. The tolls we all pay maintain the bridges, tunnels, and roads our state depends on. We will not tolerate cheating the system.

As lawyers, we take an oath to defend justice, even when it’s unpopular. When law firms, judges, or universities are attacked for doing their jobs, it’s not just wrong. It’s dangerous.

The rule of law is being tested, and we must defend it.

Residents of adult care facilities need to be treated with respect and dignity, and be safe. Physically assaulting a resident is inexcusable, and we will not stand by and allow such conduct to go undetected.

NEW: The First Circuit just rejected President Trump's unconstitutional effort to eliminate birthright citizenship.

The President cannot rewrite the Constitution with the stroke of a pen. And every judge to consider the merits has agreed on that.

When the Trump Admin threatened to block funding to support crime victims in New Jersey, we sued.

Now the Justice Department has backed down. It will stop pursuing illegal conditions that would have denied victims the help they need to recover and rebuild their lives.

We are horrified by the anti-semitic terrorist attack on a synagogue in the UK on Yom Kippur.

Our thoughts are with the victims who were targeted on one of the holiest days of the year.

The global rise in antisemitism is a scourge and we must all confront it together.

The cost of insurance is something all families are concerned with. Insurance fraud only adds to that cost. In this case, the defendant is someone who worked in the industry. We need to be able to trust the people who are working for insurers to do their jobs fairly and honestly.

Under several federal laws, victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, violent crimes, and others are entitled to receive support.

But now, the Trump Admin is again trying to cut off access to critical resources for crime victims.

We will see them in court, again.

Just won an emergency court order blocking FEMA from reallocating homeland security funds from NJ to other states.

We will continue to fight to ensure that the Trump Administration cannot illegally withhold funds that keep New Jerseyans safe.

After we stopped the Trump Admin from blocking all FEMA funding to NJ, they are pivoting to illegally attempting to slash funding for homeland security.

We won't tolerate this attempt to play politics with the safety of New Jerseyans. We are filing suit to restore this funding.
