ADC accuses Tinubu of shielding minister with alleged forged certificates
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused President Bola Tinubu of shielding Uche Nnaji, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, despite allegations that he presented forged academic credentials. In a statement on Monday signed by its spokesman, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said it was not surprised that Tinubu retained Nnaji in his cabinet even after the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) disowned the certificates he submitted for his appointment.

APC calls for constitutional reforms to reduce court delays
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called for constitutional amendments to strengthen the judiciary and reduce prolonged court cases in Nigeria. National Secretary of the party, Senator Ajibola Basiru, made the call during a consultation organised by the House of Representatives committee on constitution review. The meeting also included discussions with leaders of various political parties on proposed amendments to the 1999 constitution.
