Building up New Smyrna will have the interesting effect of attracting more attention. NSB will become more and more of a target as players from the other faction try to finish their badges and quotas with portal destruction and captures.

Building up New Smyrna will have the interesting effect of attracting more attention. NSB will become more and more of a target as players from the other faction try to finish their badges and quotas with portal destruction and captures.
So what I'm going to do is build up as many portals as I can in New Smyrna Beach. I will be forced to feed their XM by going on long ass hikes as usual in the peripheries of my triangle empire. Going to use my program to get an estimate on how much XM I need at all times.

Thinking of adding a new layer to how I play Ingress. The Roman Empire was unique in that all its territory served the capital, Rome. Most capitals serve the states, but in Rome, the states served Rome itself. All conquest was to feed Rome. Everything was to feed Rome.

The bostonian seems to only be attacking portals conveniently in his path. Except for Detwiler park, he's not really going out of his way to take anything down. His priority seems to be something else and I presume it's his wife since Valentine's day just passed. Understandable.

If i lived forever, id go back to watching anime like i used to a long time ago. But time is running out and the days of watching are over. I must create now. I get the same feelings i felt when watching anime from the soundtracks anyway, even if i've never seen them.

Finally got around to incorporating economic damage in battle reports based on shops prices for resonators and mods. He destroyed over 5 dollars worth of gear. In other news, get your war bonds!. #ingress

He didn't attack until around 4pm and only hit some inconsequential portals. If he's here for a while, this is just him coming in late and settling in.

My last attempt at this simulation thing was many months ago. It didn't work out well. But I have learned so much since then. And it's already looking much better than my last attempt.

It might allow for some interesting interaction between the two datasets though. Imagine populations growing in areas under stable long term ingress fields while being decimated in conflictive areas

I did this inside my ingress analysis app of course because it felt convenient. Will it cause issues in the future, i don't know. But then again, i have absolutely no idea what im doing. Im just winging it.

It took 3 days to process and merge multiple data sets on florida terrain into individual 14.7 x 14.7 meter cells. I created time in the app, and now i have space. Next is climate, then my first life forms, whatever that will be.

I went out very late in my day to unify all my fields into a single gelatinous blob of blue. By late i mean I was out at 4pm, in broad daylight. I hated it.

Arms are aching. They aren't used to the trekking poles I've been using recently on my hikes. They have been vital for walking in pitch black darkness both as feelers to tell me if there is something in front of me and general stability for walking on ground I can't see.

In other news, I am playing MyVoiceZoo to see its potential for my English classes. I am using a different voice clipping of a Soprano's character saying OH! for each animal... I will later post the results of this experiment.
