Yesterday, while I was still securing route 44 from local guerrilla activity, I was blinded sided by a full frontal attack from the north. It was the worst ever. He had driven as far as Jacksonville and spent hours taking down all my core portals. The 内卷 is strong with this one

Mostly out of action today due to bad sleep. Spent much of day refining Palantater. Started off as an Ingress analysis program but it's not worth it to put so much effort into a game with a niche fan base, as much as i enjoy it. Hoping it will branch into something else.

It's an opportunity really. I just about finished hardcoding my rules into a sort of...mod. Imported road data for lines of supply and all for portals. This will be fun.

After what seemed like an eternity of taunting every Enlightened player in Florida someone finally made the effort to visit and wipe out my core portals. Thinking i should change my gameplay every time that happens. What rule should I have this time...

But it's ok because I was kind of waiting for this so I could set up a better defense field over 44.

The enemy guerrila took out a key portal that connects line of supply to the western half of my territory. So now i gotta go fix that by walking in the dark along 44.

Or I can abandon my efforts in linking with Deland and simply march 30 kms through Eustis, burning and sacking my way all the way to Ocala.

I am left with only desperate options. I can make for the north western anchor with my beachhead rule which allows me to create a line of supply to any connecting boat launches. This would involve 7km of kayaking through gator saturated waters.

My backup plan was to simply walk from a parking lot nearby. But then I saw that the path was no longer navigable due to the sudden construction of a private community that was no now blocking the route from nonresidents.

I was originally confident i could bypass it by walking through Longleaf Pine and crossing I-4 to link with the fields northern anchor, but I observed that I-4 is lined with fences on both sides. So this is not possible.

a. The predicament I am in is that I am obstructed from expanding westward due to a tiny sliver of open space between these two fields made by an allied player. And i cannot close it because the portal i need has been blocked off by the properties owners.

Hiked 11 miles. Fell asleep at maybe 8ish. Wide awake at midnight. Too much exertion late in day. But there is going to be a lot more of that down the road.

The plan is to kayak and secure boat launches along the way in order to bypass the links they threw up. It's ambitious and i'm not sure i can brave the gators but I'll know after i try.
