Trump: "Portland, I mean -- every time I look at that place it's burning down. There are fires all over the place. When a store -- there are very few of them left -- but when a store owner rebuilds a store they build it out of plywood. They don't put up storefronts anymore. They just put wood up."

I'm at the scene where ICE abducted multiple people from Lincoln and Foster this morning.

A WGN producer was among the people taken, allegedly because she was among a group of bystanders who tried to intervene. ICE agents hit this car while making their getaway.

Floodwater is literally part of the ORS descriptions. Other SW&CDs take it seriously. Why not ours?
nickcpdx.bsky.social
My bigger concern is what they don’t do. There’s a lot of urban floodplain area in Portland - not including the Airport Way area - and no plan to address it.

I didn’t know that! That’s good

I’d love it if this board focused more on urban flooding and less on exporting money from Portland to help farmers in East County

“This new interpretation of Tinker was pushed for… by progressives who wanted to oust anyone who spoke against their views,” Randazza said. “Now they find out that when you unleash the poison gas of censorship, the wind always blows it back into your face.”

It was a beautiful Sunday in Portland. Farmer’s markets, the Portland Marathon, peaceful protests, and some views of Mt. Hood. This city is vibrant, peaceful, and resilient. We do not need a federal occupation, and we sure as hell don’t want one.
