Tick tock ... look at this fantastic clock !

You're looking at the Edward VII Coronation Memorial at West Parade, Bexhill-on-Sea, built in 1904.

We were lucky enough to get a look inside, what a stunning clock mechanism, to me this is art, just incredible.

Ok then, I've had a rubbish day...
I like Douglas Coupland, Gareth E. Rees, a bit of psychogeography, local (East Sussex) history, slightly off-beat stuff. any recommendations?

The sense that, beyond the town,

Where the village louts could climb
Such trees as were not cut down;
I knew there’d be false alarms"

My writing on politics I publish on Medium. Here's an article on how the psychogeography of contemporary literacy fiction - which is now the dominant paradigm of psychogeography - obscures the Marxist origins of Debord's psychogeography as a challenge to planned environments and consumerist culture.

"you must get them all" applies to Osees as it does to The Fall for me. If I had to choose one I suppose it might be Carrion Crawler/The Dream, but they are all great. And the live albums and comps. "Live in San Francisco" is Psych Garage Punk fire!

Please entertain my idea for a band playing straight middle-of-the-road soft rock who only perform at experimental music festivals.

Their name: The Control Group.

(Extracted to my blog because I’m rather proud of it and no-one seemed to notice my brilliance.)
