Trailer is so freaking good. So hyped to blasting through MGS1 on Saturday, plus I'm on commentary on Sunday. So fantastic that Hotfix is shining a spotlight on the Metal Gear Speedrunners community, some extremely talented and wonderful runners on display this weekend.

The Live Stream update post YouTube just put out, claiming to be their "biggest updates to YouTube Live", seem a bit lackluster. It's not what I'd describe as big. Having said that, as someone who streams to 16x9 and Vertical at the same time, this is a nice QoL update:

To conclude, I don't really have the time or need, to submit to AGDQ this year. It does feel weird, considering I've been submitting and regularly hitting the backup list the last few years - of course I ran in person at SGDQ23. Plus, I've still got to make time for my best bud - he's nearly 2! 5/5

Speedrun Tools UK is being picked up left, right, and centre, and I'm heavily involved with some of the marathons using it. Saving Sarah just concluded, raising over $3,000 in mutual aid, and there's Prevent-A-Thon 6 in November, which I'm also running in, returning to UnMetal... 4/5

I was tech lead for this event and marked the first time STUK had been used with a custom layout, and a new audio on/off air feature.

As well as being tech staff for PAT, providing STUK for them as well, I'll be running UnMetal for the event, a game I haven't showcased since my last appearance on GDQ Hotfix as a runner for Passion Project in June last year.

But also I've been hella busy in this space recently. I'm GDQ Staff now, being a Hotfix Showrunner, so I already have a regular spot on the channel. Plus I'm on next weekend's "Oops All Metal Gear" special running MGS1 Any% Extreme. I've got enough GDQ coverage at the moment and happy with it... 3/5

With Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater released in August, I fully expect it in the line-up, and has been submitted by 5 different runners. As such, I saw little point in submitting any other Metal Gear runs - any other MG runs they want to pair with Delta they'd want live as well most likely... 2/5

Whilst I do speedrun MGSΔ myself, including All Kerotans All GA-KO (AKAG), I've only been tackling Very Easy difficulty for now to get used to finding and shooting the new ducks. All AGDQ submissions are for European Extreme and besides, Delta's premiere at GDQ should be in person.

AGDQ 2025 marks the first time in several years I haven't submitted to a mainline GDQ event. I can't afford to attend being UK based, I have to run online, and online spots are extremely limited, so the chances of getting in are even slimmer than normal. I'm surprised online spots still exist... 1/5

Last year I ran MGS3 All Kerotans for Disaster Relief Done Quick. As this was purely an online event, it was perfect for me to submit and run in.

One of the most important STUK updates I've worked on is ready. The Live Audio Monitor has received an "On Air" function, removing the need for separate monitoring and streaming sources, and gives you far greater control of what the stream can hear. Fully automated:

That's my full name. Green is a common surname in the UK so my family has a tradition of using two middle names. I do often joke that RP stands for Roleplay or Rocket-Propelled.

Originally, SuperSonic came from Sonic 2 when Sonic turned super for the first time with the numbers 71087, my b-day, at the end back in the AIM days. Now, the origin is I speedrun both "Super" Mario Bros and "Sonic" the Hedgehog games. The underscore is just there on Twitch.

The deed has been done - the world's first All Kerotan All Gako speedrun for Metal Gear Solid Δ. Had to reset two bike chase rooms, so those need improving. Sub-hour on LRT is definitely doable, got a couple more optimisations to make as well which should help.
