I saw an article from the Atlantic call the Netflix acquisition of Warner Bros as “apocalyptic.” A lot of Internet chatter with similar dramatic phrasing. I guess cinema-bros rather all movies just be MAGA-themed with Paramount, instead?

I believe the death of movie theaters is an organic market shift. The future may be akin to how not everyone goes to opera or playhouses anymore.

I feel like we are experiencing a social recession. We’re going back to the racial and discriminatory problems of the late 20th century. I only hope we don’t sink into a social depression and…well I don’t want to think of the horrors in that scenario.
