Didn’t think this needed restating but I’ve received several emails about it over the last month: I haven’t worked for Forbes in at least 4 years. I haven’t worked at IndieWire since 2022 and I stopped working for TheWrap in 2024.

SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

Means testing programs force people on the lower end of the spectrum to constantly restate everything they own while there is massive tax evasion on the other end of the income and wealth spectrum. Congress and state governments must be held to account for this by us.

This is all because @gavinnewsom.bsky.social thinks Medi-Cal has a "spending problem" and he thinks taking resources away from the disabled and elderly is the solution. He wants us to live on less than $2,000 a month. In the state of California.
