Capitalism ain't it and a banned book sale isn't gonna fix the bigger issues. Try and get involved in your small, local political scene and school boards. You'll make a much bigger impact than you know.

check out what’s going on with your schoolboard (especially if you’re a parent!), find out what your local libraries need and what would help, look at how budget allocation works on your state and local level to see if you can join with other people to advocate for funding and access

re: these discussions around banned books week, getting involved in your local political landscape will do way more to prevent book bannings and ensure access to materials than buying a few books for yourself! this is something i’ve been remiss in but i’m looking forward to being active here in ohio

If you're trying to get an old wacom to work w newer mac OS, I can't recommend the "Connect my tablet" app highly enough!! they're not paying me to say this lol. got my 2013 cintiq working 6 years ago AND got the same model cintiq AND a ~2011? intuos working on a much newer OS today. lifesavers!!!
