further, the statement put out by usagi is unfortunately weak at best. it's evident the racism/transphobia issues didn't bother him enough to address them sooner (i.e. until he was caught). i would have hoped that nazis would have no place in a friend group beyond *2016*, much less 2023.

their demo looked incredible, and i gave them a *lot* of credit for that. but hindsight is 20:20. it's difficult to tell how much of the app is *actually* real or just mocked up; it's now difficult to tell how much was built by an actual human; and i've no idea how $5 optional can fund server costs.
