ran some errands and noticed a bunch of trees had exploded (either from ice weighing them down or their sap freezing and expanding); I didn't think I lived north enough for something like that to happen

I knew The Comics Journal is notoriously bad when it comes to manga in general, but I still can't get over how ridiculous their review of Manga: A New History of Japanese Comics was.
It has an entire paragraph complaining that a book on Japanese comics does not spend enough time on *French comics.*

it's a tragedy how often I've seen lossy jpgs of soviet and post-soviet art get posted in online FA and body positivity circles in general over the years only to find their monographs (if they've received one at all) to be completely inaccessible due ongoing sanctions and wars

caved and bought a large one topping pizza yesterday and woke up today hungrier than before. it's probably just the fact that I ate it all, but it really feels like they put something in it that fucks with your satiety
one semester in undergrad I starting relying heavily on domino's rewards program for food expenses (2-3 times per week). I wasn't used to eating that much in one sitting but feeling my appetite grow to accommodate that in the ensuing weeks is something I'll never forget lol
