Lemme give you a little bit of a picture of my September. I had broken my foot in mid-August days after listing this book for pre-order. Having my lower leg immobilized had led to a blood clot; I was uncomfortable and stressed out and it had been many months since I'd been able to take a holiday. 1/

So many great questions... This one is aimed at knitters rather than designers, but am getting the sense there might be an interest in a more advanced book, that covers grading? ... Should I?
Folks, MATH FOR KNITTERS is listed as a pre-order at @microcosm.bsky.social because the reprint is making its way to their warehouses. They sold out of the first batch of books I sent them. A good challenge to face, and more books are on the move as I type this. Thanks for your patience!

Does this mean the first batch of MATH FOR KNITTERS has a mistake? Yep, it does. Hopefully a relatively inconsequential one, but a misprint all the same. Honestly, we're thinking it'll maybe make this first run a collector's edition... (Have I mentioned the book's already in it's 2nd printing?)
I have said it before and I will keep saying it: Copping to mistakes is the single best community-builder for a small business. Every time I let customers know I screwed up, I have lovely, meaningful exchanges with them. People are kind, they appreciate being told the truth, and they are supportive.

That feeling when you discover a mistake too late to correct it, but it's not the actual book content. Pre-orders are shipping with a correction sticker!
(Also, soon I'll tell you about how the 1st printing has a minor glitch that was corrected for the 2nd printing... Collector's edition, anyone?? 👀)
