Tumbler Ridge is in our hearts and thoughts today as the community deals with the aftermath of this tragic act of violence. Our condolences to all impacted.❤️
My heart is heavy hearing of the tragic school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, BC.

To the families grieving unimaginable loss and to a community shaken by violence, please know that you are not alone. People across NL, and across this country, are holding you in our thoughts and in our hearts. 1/2

Je me souviens. We remember.

On this anniversary, we remember the victims and stand in solidarity with survivors and the Muslim community. In remembering, we recommit to building a society grounded in dignity, understanding, and the active rejection of anti-Muslim racism.

Acknowledging the importance of mental health matters, but words alone aren’t enough. We must reduce stigma and back it up with real action: timely access to care, community supports, and a system that shows up when people need it most.

You can't go to the cottage if you can't afford to heat it. 🏒🇨🇦

We're feeling a bit heated that the cost of home heating is skyrocketing. The Liberals had the chance to address this, but they didn't. The PCs don't have a plan to lower home heating costs either.

Our hearts go out to all those impacted by this horrific act of violence. We must not only condemn antisemitism, but actively confront it – along with every form of hate – wherever it appears.
My thoughts are with the Jewish community after the horrific antisemitic attack at a Hanukkah event in Australia. Violence born of hate doesn’t stop with those who experience it firsthand; its consequences are felt across communities and beyond borders. 1/3
