They're nitpicky because they want to FEEL like their input was an important part of the result. And they get that feeling when the slop machine gives them their customized slop.
I feel the clients now using GenAI to do stuff and going "good enough" when they used to nitpick at every last detail is due to them finding out all those nit picky changes take time and work they cant be bothered to put in.

i don't wanna incur the fun police or anything but.... if you do the elf lorewalking thing as alliance you can venture into silvermoon and remain friendly to every NPC and player... if you hypothetically wanted to do cross faction RP you'd need the elixir of tongues still though

Ive always wondered why so many people played DarkCloud 2 (which is *Not* a sequel of DC but was rather meant to be Dark Chronicle, like how FF has a branch in CC) but no one ever seemed to play Dark Cloud which I preferred by far.
