for this video i'd need to get a lot of clips.. so, i'd have to play lots of maps! a lot of maps that look impressive to the eye, and that match the style of the song, so maybe speedchain maps, or input density?

either way, this montage will take a long time to make.. like maybe a year?

i want to get the beaches, my city, and a nice view of all the houses, since the houses here come in all sorts of colors like pink, yellow, blue, purple, red, you name it

eventually it'd transition into game footage, and maybe i'd have a funny outtake at the end if i fuck up and drop my plush haha

the reason i edit music into my clips is because most of them don't have any in-game music, because i'll be listening to music on my phone

i don't think my family would like the music i listen to. lmfao

i play on a family pc with speakers that have to be plugged in all the time, because they have a short in the cable... so, i can't really edit videos on there

i was testing out a keybind for ceiling pops, and... yep it works!

my inputs seem a little tas-like but i swear i'm not moving that fast, i'm just moving downright and pressing an up + jump button

i use a switch 1 pro controller, which costed me $80 when i first bought it (bermuda economy is horrible here)

the Flydigi Vader 4 Pro, which is the controller i'm eyeing, costs $80 without shipping, so with all the added bonuses, i'm thinking it might be worth it

the reasons i'm thinking about getting this controller is because my L button is glitchy.. it's my 3rd jump which i barely use, but sometimes it gets to me
also the d-pad on my controller is ass 😭

more buttons, and also tension rings around the analog sticks which *might* be useful

(i cannot map these. these change the behavior of the triggers. they make them an instant press like a mouse click, or to the point you have to press it all the way down, like an analog trigger. i might have them in mouse click mode all the time)

2nd bside level done i think. finally made it out of the smw retirement home, heres hoping it doesnt take another 3 years to make one level lol

real shit though, i think this level is pretty cool! happy with how it turned out. RTA attempts soon, i was just excited to share the design completion :D
