First time making soup from real produce and I saved the seeds. Realized after this was kind of practice for the kind of processing I want to do to save seeds and distribute them. Seed cup seeds aren't even all germinating and I'm struggling to keep up and not damp off precious sprouts.

I made my first meal in a crockpot, intended as chili and morphed into like, a beef and potato stew typa deal. All by myself. And it's good. I'm kind of emotional over breakfast. Checkpoint save, achievement get. In a trough doing peak shit 💪 (even forgot the beans a whole day after rinsing them)

I started a jar of vanilla extract. It's so pretty... I'll make the beans into paste once they're finished "extracting" and we'll see how many times I have to do it again before my vines get big enough to flower. Even vacuum sealed, they smelled heavenly. Did a fire cider, too.

The first eggs are ready to go. I had the afterthought to include a recipe for 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies on the backs of the notes. A whole 4-dozen to kick off. First freeze hitting the 20's tonight but my seed cups look AMAZING.

Has anyone else noticed that their phone's keyboards are getting... stupider?
My phone actually AVOIDS capitalizing "i" and sometimes I'll need to edit an entire paragraph after the fact because I'll manually type in a difficult word and it'll change it.
My going theory is that this is modern AI.

My first bug got moldy. My first sourdough is... having troubles. Lol I made a fresh bug (Shuckle), a new sourdough starter (Leeloo), and fed the original starter after 1am. I'm also on Day 4 of my very first "Amish Friendship Bread" starter. Little by little, "life" is finding it's way back in.
