whatever folklore exist in that node to parts of its appearance, hence the angelic features. Angels don'tactually exist (in the traditional) sense in the setting, but folklore is different, and as thus this spirit, partially, turned folklore to reality

Basically, those big protrusions are fin-like attachments, the creature itself also has a rather long tail. As they spends a lot of time in the water and those are used for faster swimming.

She tames the entity thing eventually, but due to her inability to utter the entity's name in their language, she instead gives them a nickname, Bob. Bob becomes her best friend. (much like Joe to Medea from my previous works)

Originally started as a random char design (with no clear thought in mind really other than "generic revealing design" lmao), eventually became Nami. Nami is a friend of Medea, an fire obsessed lady. I may draw 'em both together at some point Her design (this one is more simplistic for (potential) animations) is "easy access" on purpose, kek To give some lore on the Nightmare, it's technically not really a monster, but a physical manifestation of a rogue sentient AI that exists within the City megastructure (this takes part in the D.U.N.E. period). (Though neither the char nor even the AI knows they're AI)
