It feels like a flaw that everything is so expensive but also nothing works

People are worried about people pirating books? You do know nobody reads, right?

Going to try to “write” some “music” over the long weekend. What going to cheap local shows will do to a guy who was in a band in high school and never got over it.

Christmas music is the most nauseous genre of music

Amazing to realize I’ve been sitting here writing for half an hour without music or background tv or anything. Just typing on the couch in silence. As a teen or even in my twenties the thought of that was unimaginable.

I keep wanting to take a photo of myself and the book with fake blood everywhere but keep putting it off. As such I forgot to note that this episode is out. It eased a ton of my anxieties about talking about work like this. John is a legend.
I got to talk with everyone's favorite independent literature podcaster again, now almost a year out from the release of MASSIVE, we talked about Joe's insights and the general response to the book.

I did it again
I somehow managed to write 4,000 words in 2 hours last night which has got to be a record for me. Imagine if I did that every night of my life! Imagine if I learned how to edit finished manuscripts! you’d be drowning in my books!

I'll tell you what, making a little altar in my dining room with pictures of passed grand parents and some other things has been a really nice thing for me.

I’m finding that i really enjoy paying $15 to go see some local bands I don’t know play in support of some regional bands I’ve never heard of in a building not meant for live music.

I have a long section in Tired where the character Eric doubts if his good actions are genuine or if he does them out of a sort of logical calculation. I should post that excerpt somewhere the next time we start talking about performative males. Or you could just buy my book I guess.
Drinking a matcha latte in public. But I’m with my wife, daughter, and grandmother. So what will the Internet think of that?

full autonomy for every child, they should be given control over their own life, identities, and decisions and it is your job as a parent to help and collaborate with them on both making good decisions and to help them learn from failure

they are their own people, not accessories
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Sometimes I joke that Rob Zombie movies are John Waters movies for straight people. I've recently been reading about Juggalos, and they fit in there somewhere.
