I wish writing was like math, at least a little. That I’d know 2+2=4 is right no matter how you look at it, instead of revising my outline 20 times and never truly believing it’s the best it can be 😭

the book I aspire to write isn’t my last 5⭐ — it’s the 3.5⭐ rollercoaster of a book that made me learn things about myself, made me cry and laugh and scream. I’ll survive if my book isn’t a work of literary genius, but if it doesn’t make anyone feel anything, then I’ve failed
